Rugby World Cup Sign Singers Wanted (Closed)
The Rugby World Cup 2011 committee want sign singers to do the National Anthem in NZSL for New Zealand All Black matches in Auckland and in Hamilton (the Wellington match has been arranged). There is one match in Hamilton with more in Auckland (depends how well the All Blacks do).
Local Auckland and Waikato Deaf people are welcome to apply. Applicants must have:
- Expressive NZSL skills
- Musical rhythm
- Confidence in public performances
- Tidy presentation
- Commitment to learn the national anthem professionally
Applicants must be available for:
- Audition via videophone at Deaf Aotearoa Auckland or Hamilton office on Saturday 20th August 2011
- Rehearsal/training on Saturday 10th September 2011 in Auckland and on other days to be finalised
- New Zealand matches in Auckland and Hamilton (all day)
Expenses will be covered.
