Deaf Aotearoa services in Auckland - Update
What is happening with Service Coordination?
We have an Service Coordinator who will be working with all our Deaf Community Members in the Auckland region. This means we needs to focus on members who have priority/urgent issues. If you have a issue that is not urgent, please be patient and we will come back to you when we are able to do so.
What is happening with Employment Consulting?
We are currently working on filling our Employment Consultant vacancies. In the mean time, if you need support looking for a job or in your workplace you can still contact Deaf Aotearoa. If your need is urgent we can organise for one of our Employment Consultants from another region to support you.
What do I need to do if I need something?
If you have any queries about where to find information or advice please contact your Community Relations Officer, James Pole, by email at james.pole@deaf.org.nz. James will be able to identify urgent issues and organise for either a Service Coordinator or Employment Consultant to get in touch. For issues that are not urgent, it may be possible for James assist with small things or find other ways to resolve your issue.
What is Deaf Aotearoa doing about their services?
We are working on returning to normal service as soon as possible. However it is possible that it will take some time before we return to full service capacity. Your patience during this time is appreciated. We will keep the Deaf Community updated with further developments.
