Wellington Deaf Society’s Christmas Dinner

They are having their Christmas dinner next Saturday 10 December, starting at 6pm. Everyone is welcome, if you wish to join, please email events@wds.org.nz. WDS Members cost $25, Non Members cost $35. Come along and enjoy their Christmas gathering

Family Christmas Picnic

There will be a family Christmas picnic on 11 December, 11.30am, meet at Waitangi Park, next to Te Papa in Wellington, there will be a gazebo set up in the park, so it will be easy to see. Santa will be visiting, please bring a wrapped present/s for your children also bring your picnic. There will be activities provided, so will have lots of fun! Everyone is welcome!

Deaf Aotearoa NZ Wellington Christmas lunch

Deaf Aotearoa Wellington will be having our Christmas lunch with all of Wellington’s staff and community. You are welcome! It will be on the 20th December, at 12pm. Please bring a plate of food to share.

TLC exhibitions

TLC has two exciting exhibitions coming up:

• End of Year/Term 4 Exhibition will be open from 1st until Sunday 4 December. There will be a Deaf tour for Deaf and hearing impaired people on Thursday 1st December starting at 5.30pm at The Learning Connexion in Lower Hutt.
• TLC has organised a Deaf Art Exhibition by TLC’s Deaf and hearing impaired students around NZ to show their art. It will begin on Tuesday 6th until 10 December. They are having a Opening Celebration evening on the Tuesday 6th, starting at 7pm until 8.30pm. It is located inside the Hutt Art Society Odlin Gallery, located on the corner of Myrtle and Huia Streets, Lower Hutt.
