Deaf Aotearoa is working with BNZ Bank to develop a programme for the Deaf Community about how to look after your money.We would like you to let us know what information you would like to learn. e.g. you want to learn about banking, financial management, how to look after money, budgeting, or other things?Your feedback will help us and BNZ make a good programme for you.
New name for TVNZ Captioning
TVNZ Captioning has changed its name to TVNZ Access Services! Our new name encompasses both access services we provide - captions and audio description.TVNZ Access Services, with funding from NZ On Air, provides television access for NZ’s deaf and blind communities through high quality captions and audio description.
Guy Fawkes Week – Keep Safe
Remember to follow safety instructions:
• Keep your pets inside or in a safe place overnight.
• Do not use fireworks in house or outside in very dry areas.
• Always have a bucket of water ready if need put out fire or fireworks.
• Do not hold the firework when lighted or set on fire.
Fireworks are on sale from 2nd to 5th November.Official Guy Fawkes Night is 5th November. No fireworks on sale after 5th November.
